Non-Surgical Facelift

Non-Surgical Facelift in Snoqualmie, WA

If your aesthetic goal is to lift your facial features, smooth wrinkles, restore volume and create refreshed, vibrant, and natural results, the liquid facelift (aka non-surgical facelift) can help you accomplish all of this. The liquid facelift is a combination of multiple injectable treatments administered in the same appointment. As a result, the process doesn’t require any cutting, stitching, scarring, or lengthy recovery time. In fact, a liquid facelift can be done so quickly you can have it done on your lunch break and get back to your regular schedule right after your treatment.

The injectable treatments included in a liquid facelift are Botox® and dermal fillers. While Botox helps temporarily block expression muscles’ ability to contract, the dermal fillers restore volume that was lost due to aging. Expert injector Dr. Lisa McCoy harnesses 7 years of experience with Allergan Medical Institute (the creators of Botox), the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), the National Laser Institute, along with multiple years of experience as a practicing injectable specialist. She is well-prepared to deliver beautiful and natural-looking results.

What is a Liquid Facelift?

The ultimate objective of a standard facelift is to restore your youthful beauty by carefully repositioning sagging skin and tissue to re-contour your face. While the results last for years to come, lengthy downtime, cutting, and mild scarring can be associated with this procedure. Life can be busy with work and family, which is why patients are now considering the non-invasive liquid facelift instead.

A liquid facelift is an excellent non-surgical alternative to a standard facelift for patients seeking a restored appearance with quick results, no downtime, and no going under the knife. It uses a combination of liquid injectables like dermal fillers and Botox to lift and revitalize your facial features.

How Does a Non-Surgical Facelift Work?

Dermal fillers and Botox work together to restore your youthful complexion. The dermal fillers add a natural volume back into areas of your face where aging has caused volume reduction. The hyaluronic acid gel feels just like your biological facial tissue and can even help smooth out dynamic lines and wrinkles. While the dermal fillers are adding volume back into the face, Botox disrupts the connection between contracting facial muscles that cause expression lines.

What are the Benefits of a Liquid Facelift?

If you’ve been looking for a convenient alternative to a standard facelift, a liquid facelift may be the ideal solution for which you’ve been searching. The benefits of a liquid facelift include:

  • Non-invasive treatment
  • Smooths lines and wrinkles
  • Restores volume to the face
  • Helps smooth subtle and dynamic wrinkles
  • Ideal for busy schedules
  • Nearly instant results
  • Quick and Comfortable

One of the most significant advantages of the liquid facelift is that it doesn’t require you to go “under the knife.” Those who want to look younger but either cannot or do not want to undergo surgery choose this minimally invasive option because it requires little to no downtime afterward. And, they are free to go about their regular activities without delay.

Feel Beautiful & Look Rejuvenated

Dr. Lisa McCoy's passion is aesthetics. She primarily focuses on cosmetic injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers (i.e., Juvéderm & Restylane) that restore a more youthful appearance, helping people feel beautiful and look rejuvenated. Her goal is to enhance each patient's natural beauty in a way that leaves them looking and feeling their absolute best.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are a liquid compound composed of hyaluronic acid (HA). Hyaluronic acid can be found naturally inside your body and is responsible for keeping your skin plump and hydrated. In addition, the fillers provide volume back to the cheeks, chin, and around the eyes, for a plump, youthful look. They can also be used as lip fillers and are generally responsible for the full, luscious lips that you see on some of your favorite celebrities.

At Ageless Aesthetics, Dr. McCoy uses several dermal filler products when conducting a liquid facelift, each designed to treat specific facial areas.

We use the following fillers:

  • Juvéderm® Vollure
  • Juvéderm® Voluma XC®
  • Juvederm Volbella
  • Juvederm XC
  • Juvederm XC plus
  • Restylane®
  • Restylane® Silk

After a thorough consultation with Dr. McCoy, she will help you choose suitable fillers that will provide you with optimal results.

Non-Surgical Facelift FAQs with Dr. McCoy

Any healthy adult who isn’t taking anticoagulants and preferably a non-smoker is a good candidate for a liquid facelift. It’s important to discuss any medical information with Dr. McCoy before undergoing your liquid facelift, such as having a history of blood clotting. You may also prefer to have a liquid facelift if anything in your medical history disqualifies you from having surgery, as this is a safe alternative.

Initially, Dr. McCoy will conduct a thorough discussion about your expectations and aesthetic goals. Once you’ve both decided on a consensus about what areas of your face you would like to treat, Dr. McCoy will first mark the injection locations on your skin with a felt-tipped pen. She will then apply an anesthetic cream to the skin to ease any discomfort you might feel during the procedure. Finally, she will inject a controlled amount of either filler or Botox into the marked locations. Dr. McCoy is always careful about never over-filling the face but rather keeping your results natural and youthful.

A liquid facelift is generally painless. You may experience some tenderness and redness around the injection sites after your appointment, but those typically go away naturally in a day or two. Because there are no sutures or incisions involved, you’re able to resume your normal activities immediately after your procedure is finished.

A liquid facelift is not a permanent solution to lines and wrinkles, but it typically lasts for many months to years. The effects of Botox usually last for around three to four months. Dermal fillers’ longevity depends on the speed at which your body naturally metabolizes the biocompatible material and the type of filler used (some fillers can last 6-8 months, while others can last for years). If you notice unwanted signs of aging beginning to reappear, you are always welcome to come back to Ageless Aesthetics for a brief touch-up treatment. Dr. McCoy recommends scheduling follow-up appointments a few times per year to maintain your results.

The most common side effects of a liquid facelift are slight bruising, swelling, redness, and some tenderness, which are minor and will generally resolve themselves on their own in a few days after your treatment. It’s generally advised that you avoid strenuous exercise for a day or so after having your liquid facelift and avoid any touching or pressure around the injection spots unless instructed to do so. Other than that, there are no restrictions to your activities and no special instructions for aftercare.
